xo1opossum. OP • 2 yr. ago. Personally I like the Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War design better. Sauron just looks so much more imposing in the Shadow of Mordor games than he does with his big headed design in the lotr movies. SPRITEstrawbery. • 2 yr. ago. I personally like the SoW version. Just seeing a freaking 12 foot tall monster in
I would recommend either Normal or Nemesis, leaning more towards Nemesis especially if you've played Shadow of Mordor beforehand. Furthermore, if you choose Normal and find it's too easy,go to Nemesis. Definitely don't go on Gravewalker.
8.Bright Lord’s Hammer. Brighit Lord’s Hammer is one of the harder items to obtain in Shadow Of War. To get it, you have to beat all of the Shadow Of The Past quests with the gold rating. And the effect it has is worth grinding for it. Bright Lord’s Hammer lets your Charged Ranged attacks freeze nearby enemies.
This is coming from someone who loved Shadow of Mordor. Shadow of War's combat is much better, you can have many builds based on not only your skills but what gear you have. SOM only had upgrade paths for everything, your skills, weapons, and stats like health, focus, and arrows. SOW bases this all on the choices you make when picking skill

The sequel boxes are generally ticked off with Shadow of War, it's bigger, better, and a touch more ambitious than Shadow of Mordor was, but there are aspects that feel somewhat dated now, and there's a lack of polish to certain controls that dilutes the fun just a smidgen.
It's way better than Shadow of Mordor. The Nemesis system is light years ahead. I think I lost my 3 first Captain fights. I was suprised by that. I then read the Captains strengths and weaknesses and played accordingly - and now no issues. Much better game. I'm playing Nemesis level and having a blast right from level 1.
Here are the 10 best abilities you can unlock in Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor: 10. Resilience. Stalk the ruins of Mordor. Hit streak will endure the first strike landed on Talion. A lifesaver when fighting off a mob. 9. Vault Stun. Become the eye of the storm.
The Verdict. Similar to the way Batman: Arkham City built on the foundation of Arkham Asylum, Middle-earth: Shadow of War is bigger and more ambitious in scope than Shadow of Mordor, with great
